ADVENTURE: 4 Week Session (Kit Included)

Join us for our next round of art camps – This time Adventure themed! (Ages 6-12)

•August 11th: Nature Mandalas
Project: Collect some leaves and make your mark! Today we will be collecting leaves, flowers, and more natural materials to create temporary nature mandalas outside.
Materials at home: leaves, rocks, flowers, etc. Optional camera device to document your creation.

•August 18th: Travel Log
Project: Today we will be designing and constructing our own travel/adventure journals! We can take these with us for any trip, journey, or adventure near and far!
Materials at Home: scissors, pencil/pen
Provided in Kit: paper, string, markers

•August 25th: Re-Map It
Project: If you could go anywhere in the world (or beyond) where would you go? What does it look like there? What does the air feel like? Today we will be mapping out and visualizing places through paint and collage that we would like to go (real or imaginary).
Materials at Home: pencil
Provided in Kit: canvas, paint, construction paper

•September 1st: Rock Collector
Project: Today we will be painting affirmation/positivity adventure rocks! We will create our own creations and then place them outside for others to find along their way.
Materials at Home: optional to collect more rocks of your own, water/cup, paper towel
Provided in Kit: small rocks, paint, paint brush
