Birdhouse Painting Workshop (SCH)

Join us for this FREE community art-making event! Flight Paths is part of our Color the Canal project in which we have community members create art that is placed along the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail. This summer, we are asking you to help us paint birdhouses that will go up along the trail.

All supplies will be provided – we are painting on pre-made wooden, primed birdhouses. If you’d also like to bring a clean milk carton or metal coffee can with the lid, we will show you how to make your own birdhouse!

All ages welcome! This is a great project for a family or small group to work on together.

We will be using latex paint, so we encourage you to bring a smock.
