Lavender Hour: ONLINE

Lavender Hour is an online art workshop designed to be a safe space for LGBTQIA+ and allied youth ages 13-18. Each workshop, we will focus on a different art prompt, many geared toward discussions about LGBTQIA+ identity, topics, and more. Projects may dream/goal jars, five year characters, painting to music, and more!

Project: Painting Pride. What does pride mean to you? What does it look like? Today we will be exploring the roots of Pride, and visualizing what Pride looks like to us on our own paintings. You may collect meaningful objects or paint/draw from imagination.

Materials: Paint, paper/canvas, optional markers/drawing materials. (You may also choose to draw instead of paint!)
