C.R.E.A.T.E. Community Studios and Saratoga Educational Equity Network (SEEN) continue to collaborate on #AudreLordeSaratoga, a reading, discussion and art-making group that gathers every-other Monday to discuss Audre Lorde’s writings and powerful voice, documented in her poems, essays, speeches, biomythography and Cancer Journals. Lorde’s work is not only worth reading for its own sake, but continues to provide keen insight into the differences that strengthen American society and Saratoga Springs as a community.. The first meeting will take place on Monday October 3, 5:30-6:30 p.m., in the Glasby Room of the Saratoga Springs Public Library.  Books will be available at the Library and Northshire Saratoga (ask for it at the desk for discount) if you’re one to mark up your readings, or copies are available to borrow at each meeting for the duration of the series. Registration is recommended to receive updates on readings and projects.

Ucoming Dates:10/3, 10/17, 11/2, 11/14, 11/28, 12/12
