Silk Scarf Printing: SCH

Creating signature silk scarves is a blast! Working freely with thickened fiber reactive dyes and a variety of mark making tools we will paint and print on blank scarves to build rich surface pattern. Learn how the dyes bond with the fabric to maintain the smooth, silky hand of the fabric. Each student will make two scarves.

Dyes will stain clothing and skin, so dress appropriately and bring a pair or two of latex gloves.
