Murals & Public Art
In 2022 we created a public mural along Jay Street in Schenectady as well as a moveable mural for Erasing Faces and Spaces
We came together on Community Paint Day to help artist Elona Hope Mitchell-Strong create this monopoly themed mural.



With the help of artist Marcus Kwame Anderson we created a moveable mural depicting the forgotten history of Congress Street in Saratoga


In 2021 we designed two public art installations
Together with artist from our community we created the Common Unity Banner project!



We came together on Community Paint Day to create the beautiful mural on the Schenectady Bike Trail during Color the Canal.



In 2020, we created a mural along the Mohawk Hudson Bike Path
One of our wonderful interns, Bella Burnett, painted this mural on a bike shelter along the Mohawk Hudson Bike Path during Color the Canal!



In 2019 we created two public murals in Schenectady!
Made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with Support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York Legislature and administered by The Arts Center of the Capital Region.

Below is a community mural in downtown Schenectady, designed by Charlotte Mack. During Jazz N' Funk in September of 2019 the community of Schenectady came together and contributed to this mural, bringing some more bring colors and positive energy to Gateway Plaza! We hope to do more in the future!
