Beginning Painting – SCH

This painting studio class is for teens and adults who want to learn basic painting skills. We will learn about value, color theory, and how to see, mix, and paint colors accurately. We will explore skills and concepts to help you develop representational drawing skills as you learn to render objects realistically using gouache paint. After completing their first painting and becoming familiar with the materials, students will be responsible for bringing their own paints and brushes. Other materials are provided.
